How MeWebLink Automatically Screens Website Submissions
Automatic publication, link rules, background retries and the limits of screening.
Submit once; eligible links publish automatically
Enter a public URL, an optional name of up to 30 characters and a factual description of 50–250 characters. Choose a category. No account, email address or payment is required. A submission that passes the required checks appears immediately in the directory without an operator approval step.
Use the actual destination
Known affiliate networks, referral links, shorteners and checkout or payment links are excluded. Ordinary public shops and product information pages can qualify. Tracking tags are removed where recognised. Duplicate detection treats http and https, www and trailing slashes alike, while allowing distinct useful pages under the submission limits.
Required network checks
Before publication, the destination must pass URL and content-pattern rules and resolve to public addresses through Cloudflare’s filtering DNS service. Confirmed filtering, private destinations and restricted domains stop publication. A filtering-service outage queues a new entry privately for automatic retry rather than bypassing the check.
Page probes have practical limits
A bounded server request checks available redirects without executing scripts or saving page content. Each redirect is checked before connecting. Ordinary bot protection or a timeout after the base checks pass does not by itself reject a legitimate site. Automated checks cannot read every page or establish whether all claims are true.
Checks continue after publication
A background job processes queued entries and periodically rechecks published listings. Confirmed violations hide the entry; temporary outages alone do not remove an existing listing. A visitor report schedules an earlier check. False reports cannot directly remove a listing, and subjective or rights-related complaints may need operator attention.
Support does not buy acceptance
Optional PayPal donations help support the service. They have no effect on eligibility, check results or listing order. Contact us with the exact URL if you need a correction or believe a screening result is wrong. Inclusion cannot guarantee safety, availability, traffic, indexing or rankings.
